Sharp Works Pattern Collection

At Sharp Works we write a range of patterns for beginners and more advanced knitters.  Here are a few examples:

 Lace Rib Snood knitted in Debbie Bliss Paloma yarn

 Vertical Garter Stitch Cardigan knitted in Adriafil KnitCol yarn

 Chunky Pom Pom Beanie knitted in Rowan Big Wool

We have also written patterns for scarves, blankets, baby boots and other hat patterns for both children and adults.  All patterns are available to buy in the shop and can be knitted in a range of alternative yarns.

We run a range of classes at Sharp Works.  Our July-September schedule is as follows:

Knitting in the Round

Using double pointed needles to make a hat.  Knitting experience needed: knit, purl and rib

Cost £20-Materials provided

Thursday 18th July

6.30-8pm

Beginners Crochet
This is a two week class for complete beginners
Cost £30 - All materials are provided at the first lesson
Wednesdays 24th & 31st July

This summer we are introducing some classes on Saturday afternoons: 

 

Crochet Squares Workshop
 Learn how to make crocheted squares in this two hour workshop.
You will learn all the steps required to make a granny/afghan square
Basic crochet experience required
Cost £20-Materials will be provided
Saturday 3rd August

Cable Workshop

This two hour workshop will explain the basics of cable knitting. 

You will learn how to read charts & patterns and explore a variety of cable textures.

Cost £15-price includes cable needles.  Samples will be available to practice on.
