We run a range of classes at Sharp Works.  Our July-September schedule is as follows:

Knitting in the Round

Using double pointed needles to make a hat.  Knitting experience needed: knit, purl and rib

Cost £20-Materials provided

Thursday 18th July

6.30-8pm

Beginners Crochet
This is a two week class for complete beginners
Cost £30 - All materials are provided at the first lesson
Wednesdays 24th & 31st July
6.30-8pm

 Beginners Knitting Lessons

This is a two week course for complete beginners

Cost £30 - All materials are provided at the first lesson

 Thursdays 25th July & 1st August

6.30-8pm

Knitting with Colour

Intarsia and Fair Isle techniques explained

Knitting experience required

Samples will be available for practice

Cost-£12

Thursday 29th August

6.30-8pm

 Making up and finishing techniques 

Bring your own unfinished garments if possible

 Samples will be available for practice

Saturday 31st August

2-4pm

This summer we are introducing some classes on Saturday afternoons: 

 

Crochet Squares Workshop
 Learn how to make crocheted squares in this two hour workshop.
You will learn all the steps required to make a granny/afghan square
Basic crochet experience required
Cost £20-Materials will be provided
Saturday 3rd August
2-4pm

 

as well as a

Cable Workshop

This two hour workshop will explain the basics of cable knitting. 

You will learn how to read charts & patterns and explore a variety of cable textures.

Cost £15-price includes cable needles.  Samples will be available to practice on.
